Join CIX
Participation is open to any Autonomous System* that wishes to exchange Internet traffic in an IX.br location.
- Select the CIX (Channel to IX / Shared Port Provider) you want to use from the list below. Remember that there is the possibility of participating in IX.br also using a PIX (Interconnection Point), with a physical port for your Autonomous System.
- Contact the chosen CIX to negotiate how your physical connection will take place. Note that companies that offer interconnection to IX.br in the CIX modality do so commercially, as a service, so there are costs that must be verified and negotiated directly with them.
- Once the CIX has been chosen, also request your new port in the "Activation, migration or expansion" option on my.ix.br. If you don't have an user on my.ix.br yet, you need to create one and link it to your ASN. Participation on IX.br requires signing a legal agreement and compliance with certain technical requirements. In some locations, such as São Paulo/SP, Rio de Janeiro/RJ and Fortaleza/CE, there are costs for participation.
